How do they go from being in your arms one day to being thousands of miles away seemingly the next? So small when they are born and then taller than me all of a sudden? From making cooing noises and cries in the night to sounding just like his father? It doesn't seem possible but it happens, and it happens so fast. I got this picture of RJ and it made me cry. He's gotten so grown up. He sounds so grown up now too. sigh.

Jesse is 10 and rolls his eyes at me already. double sigh.

Kira is 8, she fell asleep on the couch with me last night. I still have a little bit of time left with her I guess ;)

Hey everyone! I haven't written in ages. Don't have internet at home right now and it'll be a few weeks before I do. Quick update...wedding plans for Mandy, going well. She did find another beautiful spot and it's coming so quick my head is spinning! Kira and Jesse are getting anxious for school to be over for the year. I am anxious for winter to be over. I am happy that daylight is coming back YEAH!!

I am still working hard, loving it and hating it at the same time. I still cannot believe that I am in construction. Life is strange, life is good, life is all that it should be Donna the Buffalo . I haven't heard from anyone OUT THERE in a while, well, except for my faithful MANDY. She's a sweetie. But no one else has been writing. So I'll leave it at that for right now because I don't have any time. I'll have to talk at you all later. Feel free to say something to me though!!

It's like going back in time!

Did I actually have that waistline once? OMG I can'tbelieve it! I got on Facebook at the insistence of a very good long time friend (love ya Jules). This was a few weeks ago. I have had SO MUCH FUN! Apparently, those sites aren't just for teenagers anymore. I have caught up with, laughed with, cried with and shared pictures (old & new) with people I haven't talked to or seen in 20 years. It's been great. And everyday someone new pops up as a "friend" and I get to talk to yet another one! This has been going on ever since I joined, and it's been so wonderfully fun. I guess it's an online reunion--GHS!! Everyone I've talked to either went to school with me or had kids that did or are going to that school right now (cousins and such). Plus, Facebook has these cool pages that keep you posted on everything everyone does (if they write it, that is). It's a blast, did I say that already? Really, it is.

I'm sure after the excitement of catching up with everyone wears off there'll be less and less communcation. But for the time being I am really enjoying it. The old pics that people are posting are great, and spark some hilarious conversations!

My daughter, poor thing, has been planning so diligently for her wedding. Last summer we went and looked at a possible wedding spot and reception place on Hatcher Pass. It was perfect, we loved it, loved the owner who had done many weddings there, there was a spot to have it outdoors (which is what we want) or if the weather is bad, we could do it inside. It's pretty and there are windows ALLL around the reception room so the view is great. We were so excited, both Mandy and Bo liked it. So they put money down to save their date, because apparently (I did not know this before) wedding sites book up a year ,sometimes way more than that, in advance. Well, today she told me that the lady that we loved so much sent her an email informing her that they are selling the place so they don't know what's going to happen to all the contracts with the new owners!! AAAAAGGGGHHHH. Okay, why, why, why wouldn't you let people know that your are on the market so they can make an INFORMED decision about their wedding location. I could just kick that ladies.....oh, I better settle down. Anyway, Mandy was disappointed, I'm sure Bo is too. But she takes after her Momma cause she's already looking for new spot, might possibly have one picked out, and is brushing herself off and not letting it get her down! I'm so proud! (as usual)

So my dear friends, if you know of any great places to have an outdoor wedding but can go indoors if there's crappy weather, please tell me. It' s really important that she find one NOW because it'll be too late soon. Everything will be booked. HELP!

I can't wait for the wedding but honestly, I need to lose 10 pounds before then. I am NOT going to be fat in the pictures, dang it! I'm not! Okay, you all heard it here.

Life goes on

I could write some goooood country songs lately LOL~~

The weather has been horrendous, the winter is incredibly long (I complain about this every year) and yet life goes on. Which is good, we are alive. We are breathing, talking, laughing, sleeping (sometimes), crying (too much) and LIVING. Everyday is a gift, right? So I will try to remember that and no matter how much I hate the flippin cold I will perservere.

My kids, they really keep me going. All of them. I am so proud of them all and really, really wish they could all be with me right now. But I do love the internet, because without it, communication would be a heck of a pain for me. So thanks, nerds, for the internet. It's a blessing in my life.

I might write something profound and meaningful later (you know, like I always do) but I'd love to seize the opportunity to take a much needed nap right now. Just wanted to say "Hey!" to my adoring readers and throw up (ha ha my dad would have made a joke about that one, throw up) a few new pics.
